A mountain in the Równica range

Orłowa, 813 m above sea level, lies in the northern part of the Równica range in the Silesian Beskids, above the Jaszowiec district of Ustroń. Its ridge forms a distinctive arc bent with both ends towards the south, clearly visible on the map.

What to see

The summit clearing looks out on Równica, Ustroń and the Vistula valley. On the north-eastern slopes remain the ruins of a concrete shelter from 1944, known as the bunker in Grapy. A private mountain hut, Chata na Orłowej, once stood on the clearing below the top.

Trails

Two blue and two green trails reach the summit. The most convenient are the blue route from Równica, about 4.5 km and just under two hours, and the green one from Ustroń Polana, 4.8 km and roughly two hours fifteen.
