Wieś Wetlina
Czoło, 1,159 m above sea level, lies in the Western Bieszczady on the Polish-Slovak border ridge, east of Riaba Skała and west of Borsuk. Administratively it belongs to the area of Wetlina in the Lesko district. This is a rarely visited corner of the range, far quieter than the popular połonina meadows.
The slopes and the summit itself are covered by dense forest, so there is no wide panorama. The southern slopes drop into the valley of the Zbójski Stream, part of the Black Sea catchment, while the streams Tarnica and Beskidnik drain the valleys around the mountain. A stand of Carpathian tozzia, a strictly protected species listed in the Polish Red Book of Plants, has been recorded here.
This is a destination for walkers who want a long forest hike and silence rather than summit views. The approach along the ridge from Wetlina takes several hours, so plan a full day, carry enough water and expect patchy mobile coverage in the border zone.
