Głębce, Wisła
Kiczory is a summit of 989 m in the western part of the Silesian Beskids and the second highest peak of the Czantoria range — only Wielka Czantoria rises higher. It belongs to the municipality of Wisła, and the Polish–Czech border runs across its very top. The massif is built of coarse-grained brown sandstone; some boulders reveal thin veins of siderite.
The summit and its slopes are forested, so views open mainly from clearings and gaps along the ridge, reaching across the successive ranges of the Silesian Beskids. Striking rock formations known as stone mushrooms, shaped by the weathering of sandstone, catch the eye. On the Czech side, the southern slope holds the Plenisko nature reserve.
The Main Beskid Trail crosses Kiczory. The shortest approach is the red trail from the Kubalonka Pass — about an hour and a half of walking. A longer option is the green trail from Istebna via Sałasz Dupne, taking around two hours. Both routes are technically easy and suitable for older children as well.
