Wieś Złatna
Krawców Wierch (1071 m above sea level) rises in the Żywiec Beskids next to Jaworzynka and Gruba Buczyna. Its ridge carries the Polish-Slovak border and the European Watershed separating the Baltic and Black Sea basins. The Mutnianská and Novotská streams flow down the Slovak side, the Straceniec down the Polish one.
The summit itself is wooded, but the wide Krawcula meadow spreads out just below it. From there you can see the whole Żywiec and Silesian Beskids, and in good weather the Slovak Malá Fatra. The meadow holds the PTTK mountain hut Bacówka na Krawcowym Wierchu, built in the 1970s, offering beds and hot meals.
The shortest approach is the yellow trail from the Glinka Pass, about 2 hours. From the village of Złatna the blue trail takes around 2.5 hours. Both routes are gentle and suit a family outing.
