The viewing terrace stands on a dune in Grzybowo, a holiday village on the Trzebiatów Coast about 6 km west of Kołobrzeg. The structure was opened in 2012 and financed with EU funds. From the platform you look out over a wide belt of beach, 30 to 50 metres across here, and the open Baltic.
Sunrises and sunsets are the most striking moments — the terrace faces the sea with nothing blocking the view. In the evening the structure is lit, so it can be used after dark as well. A visit takes only a few minutes, which makes it easy to combine with a walk along the shore.
Plażowa Street leads to the terrace; cars and campervans are left at the nearby Grzybowo-Dźwirzyno car park. The site is adapted for people with disabilities — a platform with a lift takes visitors to the top. On the way down to the beach there is a shower.
