A peak in the Barania Góra range

Magurka Radziechowska (1108 m above sea level) lies in the Silesian Beskids, on a side arm branching off Magurka Wiślańska in the main ridge of the Barania Góra range. It rises above the area of Węgierska Górka and Radziechowy in the Żywiec district. The summit is not prominent, yet it stands out clearly in the landscape.

Landscape and rock outcrops

The top used to be wooded; from the 1990s the forest was gradually cut, the slopes opened up and a good viewpoint appeared. Small rock outcrops are scattered around, the most interesting ones on the southern slopes.

Trails

The most convenient approach is the red Main Beskid Trail from Węgierska Górka via Glinne — 7.9 km and about 2 hours 20 minutes. An alternative is the green trail from Ostre over the Ostre summit and Muronka: 5.2 km, about 2.5 hours.
