Wieś Kamesznica
Magurka Wiślańska (1140 m above sea level) is a junction peak in the main ridge of the Barania Góra range in the Silesian Beskids. A side arm with Magurka Radziechowska branches off it. The ridge is built of thick-bedded Istebna sandstones and conglomerates, from which numerous outcrops have been weathered out — rock pulpits and mushroom rocks.
Several marked routes meet at the top, which makes the mountain a convenient hub when planning longer walks in the Silesian Beskids. The surroundings are wooded and rock formations along the paths add variety to the hike.
The recommended option is the Main Beskid Trail from Węgierska Górka — about 10 km and 4 hours 20 minutes. The green trail from Skrzyczne is shorter: 7.8 km and around 2 hours 40 minutes.
