Wieś Smerek
Okrąglik rises to about 1,100 m above sea level in the border range of the Western Bieszczady, near the Slovak frontier, in the Lesko district. The summit acts as a junction: the Jasło ridge and an arm running towards Fereczata meet here. The nearest base is the village of Smerek in the Wetlina valley.
The red-marked Main Beskid Trail leads to the top — the section from Smerek is about 7.5 km long and takes roughly three and a half hours. An alternative is the yellow trail from Strzebowiska, which joins the Main Beskid Trail below Duże Jasło; that route measures about 5.2 km. Returning to the starting point requires planning a full day.
From the summit area a panorama opens over the Slovak side of the range and the neighbouring Bieszczady ridges. Beech forests cover the slopes, and higher up fragments of mountain meadows appear. The route crosses land of high natural value, so it is worth keeping strictly to marked paths.
