Greenway – Necklace of the North

The Necklace of the North is a long-distance, signposted green cycle trail from the Greenways network, leading through the picturesque areas of central and eastern Pomerania. It begins and ends in Debrzno, forming an extensive loop.

Characteristics

• About 848 km long (sources also give 870 km).
• It passes through four voivodeships: Pomeranian, Kuyavian-Pomeranian, Greater Poland and West Pomeranian.
• It runs mainly on side roads – through forests and along the banks of rivers and lakes.

Protected areas along the route

• The Tuchola Forest National Park and the Drawa National Park.
• Landscape parks: Krajeński, Drawski, Tucholski, Zaborski, Wdzydzki.
