Wieś Jaworki
Biała Woda is a nature reserve just beyond the village of Jaworki in the Nowy Targ district. It covers about 28 hectares divided into four connected sections. It protects the nature of the stream valley, unusual rock formations and the traces of a former Lemko village that stood here before the resettlements.
Right at the entrance rises Czubata Skała, a pointed hill with bare slopes, and a little further on Bazaltowa Skała, a small outcrop of solidified magma that is rare in this part of the Carpathians. The trail follows the valley floor along the stream, wide and gentle, and the most interesting features are described on information boards.
Entry to the reserve is paid; the fee is collected at the entrance during the season. The access road leads from Jaworki along the Grajcarek stream, and a car park has been built right before the entrance. Walking the valley there and back at an easy pace takes about two hours.
