Lower Silesian Cycling Region

A network of cycling routes in the Barycz Valley, whose backbone is a route running along the embankment of a former narrow-gauge railway from Żmigród through Milicz to Grabownica. The entire region covers about 527 km of marked routes.

Overview

  • The former railway route: about 44 km, completely separated from car traffic and almost free of climbs.
  • Flat, easy terrain – accessible to cyclists of all ages.

Attractions

  • The Milicz Ponds – the largest ornithological reserve in Poland.
  • The Blue Trail of the Milicz Ponds (Ruda Milicka – Milicz – Ruda Sułowska).
