A manor park on Góra Ropczycka

Buczyna Park lies in Góra Ropczycka, in the Sędziszów Małopolski commune of the Subcarpathian region. It was laid out on the remains of an older, geometric garden plan and together with the farmstead and the church forms a well-preserved manorial complex. Its greatest asset is the deep ravine built into the park composition.

What to see

Former manor ponds survive in the southern part and make a good spot for a longer break. The Starzeński family burial chapel is worth a look. A walking path leads past information boards, benches and a gazebo; there are also climbing frames and a designated fire site, which helps if you arrive with children.

Who it suits

This is a place for an unhurried stroll rather than a demanding hike — the grounds are small and the only height difference is the slope of the ravine. The park stays open all year and at any hour of the day.
