Wieś Zagórze
Jezioro Łubówko is a nature reserve in the Lubusz region, in the southern part of the Drawa Forest complex near the village of Zagórze. It covers 77.5 ha, of which nearly 62 ha is woodland and the rest is the lake itself. Protection covers the post-glacial landscape together with the surrounding stands of trees.
The reserve was created to preserve the varied moraine relief and the Pomeranian beech forest in its natural form. Beech makes up almost half of the stand, accompanied by pine, oak and hornbeam. The lake lies in a deep basin with steep slopes, its bed drops away sharply and the maximum depth exceeds 18 metres.
On the western shore there is a rest area with information and teaching boards and simple educational installations — a natural starting point for a short walk along the bank. As the reserve is under active protection, it is best to keep to the marked paths and avoid descending the steep slopes.
