Ptasi Raj is a nature reserve on Sobieszewo Island in Gdańsk, at the mouth of the Wisła Śmiała branch of the Vistula where it meets the Bay of Gdańsk. It was established in 1959 and covers close to 200 hectares. Within its boundaries lie two lakes — Ptasi Raj and Karaś — along with the surrounding marshes, wet meadows, dunes and woodland.
The reserve protects water and wading birds together with their habitats. It lies on a seasonal migration route and serves as a resting place for passing flocks, including white-fronted and bean geese. More than two hundred bird species have been recorded here, making the site one of the more important observation points on the Polish coast.
A nature education trail about six kilometres long runs through the area; walking it with time for observation takes several hours. The route begins at the reserve entrance in Górki Wschodnie, a few dozen metres from the bus terminus, where a car park is also available.
