Kolonijna 24, Łeba
Łeba Park covers about 20 hectares on the edge of Łeba, close to the Słowiński National Park. It is one of the largest dinosaur parks in the country. The grounds consist of woodland, ponds and boggy hollows, crossed by paths, footbridges and boardwalks that lead past around one hundred life-size models of prehistoric reptiles.
The route is arranged as a journey through successive geological epochs, from the oldest reptiles to those of the late Mesozoic. It is complemented by an educational trail with panels on local flora and fauna and by a cinema room showing nature films. A visit usually takes about two hours.
The park was designed above all with the youngest visitors in mind. A 3000 m² playground follows the prehistoric theme, there is an excavation site where children uncover reptile skeletons, and rope structures with low climbing walls. The alleys are surfaced, so moving around with a pushchair is easy.
