Owadogigant is an entertainment and education park in Lubnica on the Gwda river, in northern Wielkopolska, not far from Szczecinek. Its trademark are hugely enlarged insect models, set along a walking route in a naturalistic setting and made with close attention to detail.
Beyond the exhibition, the park focuses on active play: there is a rope park, a tubing slope, trampolines, inflatables and bowling. Older visitors can shoot a bow or a paintball marker, while the youngest get an excavation area and a sluice for panning gold.
This is a typically family place for a few hours of a fine afternoon, convenient also as a break on a journey across the Krajna Lake District. The grounds are extensive and mostly grassy, with paths a pushchair can handle. Admission is ticketed.
