Silvarium is a recreational and educational forest garden in Poczopek, on the edge of the Knyszyn Forest in the Sokółka district. The site combines an ordinary woodland walk with stops devoted to the nature of Podlasie. A board at the entrance describes the garden and shows a map of the whole area, so the route can be planned right at the start.
At the edge of the forest stands the Gallery, where visitors can watch ants and bees at work up close and listen to birdsong. The path then leads deeper into the woods, past wooden bridges and huts, with stations along the way showing the tracks of animals living in the forest. A separate part is the Megalith Park, where erratic boulders are arranged in the shape of a Celtic circle. Each attraction has its own information board.
The terrain is flat and passable for prams, admission is free and dogs may enter with their owners — a good option for a short stop with children. Silvarium lies beside regional road no. 676, with a car park nearby.
