JuraPark in Bałtów was the first dinosaur park in Poland. It was created on the initiative of the local Delta Association after Jurassic reptile tracks had been found in the nearby ravines. Today it is the main point of the Bałtów tourist complex in the valley of the Kamienna river.
Around a hundred life-size dinosaur models stand along the trail, set among the trees. They are complemented by a Jurassic museum with an exhibition on the development of life on Earth, a prehistoric oceanarium with models of marine predators, and the Bałtów animal park with species from several continents.
This is a full-day destination for families — beyond the park itself, the complex offers further attractions scattered across the valley. The paths are paved and gentle, so a pram will manage. Allow at least two hours for JuraPark alone.
