A fairy-tale theme garden by the Vistula

Magiczne Ogrody lies in Trzcianki near Janowiec in the Puławy district, not far from Kazimierz Dolny. It is Poland's first family theme garden built around an original fairy tale, in which every part of the grounds has its own inhabitants and its own story.

What to see

Among hundreds of flowers, trees and shrubs lie lands populated by invented creatures: the Robanki, Dragons, Bulwiaki, Tree-folk, Mist Fairies, Magic Birds and Dwarves. The garden was designed as a sensory space — children do not merely look at the scenery but enter the little houses, tunnels and climbing structures, putting their imagination to work.

Who it suits

This is above all a place for families with younger children; the alleys are surfaced and passable for prams. Restaurants, cafés and toilets operate on site, and there is a souvenir shop. The surroundings invite a longer stop — Janowiec with its castle ruins and Kazimierz Dolny are both close by.
