The Park of Sacred Miniatures in Olszowa, in the Strzelce district, was the first facility of its kind in the Opole Voivodeship. It was created to promote the region and broaden its tourist offer. The garden covers about two hectares and is laid out so that successive models reveal themselves gradually during a walk along the paths.
Eighteen models of the world's best-known sacred buildings have been set up on the grounds, made on a 1:25 scale. Each is accompanied by a board with the history of the building and its cultural context, so the visit becomes a lesson in architecture and religious studies. The models can be viewed close up, which photographers will appreciate in particular.
The Dwór Olszowa complex is completed by attractions for the youngest: the Bajkowy Sad playroom with a three-level structure, ball pools and slides and a separate zone for children up to three, as well as a rope park intended for children from three to thirteen.
