Gierłoż, Kętrzyn
Mazurolandia lies in Gierłoż near Kętrzyn, next to the grounds of Hitler's former headquarters. It is a large complex that combines play with learning about the history and architecture of Warmia and Masuria. Sightseeing takes place outdoors, along marked paths leading between successive themed zones.
The core of the park are miniatures of the region's most characteristic buildings — castles, churches and town halls — showing in one place what is spread over many kilometres in the field. Next to it there is a Military Park with an equipment display and a shooting range, a stronghold recalling the Teutonic era, and the remains of the orangery and vegetable garden of the former headquarters.
Younger visitors get an extensive play zone: an electric train, trampolines, inflatable slides, a ball pool and eurobungee. The paths are surfaced, so the site works for pushchairs. Allow about two hours to walk the whole park at an easy pace.
