The Snowlandia Winter Amusement Park operates in Zakopane at the foot of the Wielka Krokiew ski jump named after Stanisław Marusarz, right by the border of Tatra National Park. The site's first season fell in the winter of 2015/2016. It is a seasonal attraction by nature: its elements are built anew every winter and melt away when the season ends.
The main attraction is the snow maze, built each year over about a month. Beside it stands an igloo with chambers filled with snow and ice sculptures created by artists from Podhale and Slovakia. A great snow pyramid completes the set, along with a 200-metre toboggan run, lit and secured, intended for whole families.
The Tatra Educational Park with a mini zoo also operates on site, and the lift below Krokiew is a few dozen metres away. The park lies on Piłsudskiego Street, within walking distance of Krupówki, which allows a visit to be combined with a tour of central Zakopane.
