Warownia w Inwałdzie near Wadowice combines the features of an amusement park, an open-air museum and a museum. The complex consists of two main parts: a stone stronghold with towers and a courtyard, and a Medieval Settlement recreating wooden buildings and the workshops of former craftsmen. The whole belongs to the larger Park Inwałd, on the foothills between Cracow and Bielsko-Biała.
The visit is complemented by living history workshops — displays of craft, weaponry and the daily occupations of the stronghold's inhabitants. An archery range operates on the grounds, and the Park of Moving Dragons with animated figures is a separate attraction. A playground has been prepared for the youngest, so children have something to do between shows.
The site lies directly on regional road no. 52 from Cracow to Bielsko-Biała, which makes access easy. A food outlet on site offers a rest during a break from sightseeing.
