ul. Nadawki, Wasilków
The Jurassic Dinosaur Park, also known as the Museum of the Earth's History, lies in Wasilków, a dozen or so kilometres from Białystok, close to the Supraśl valley. It was created in 2008 and combines an open-air prehistoric display with entertainment facilities.
Around thirty life-size models of fossil reptiles stand along the educational path. Each is accompanied by a board describing the species and the epoch it lived in, so the route can be walked as a lesson in the Earth's history. Reconstructions of ancient plants and insects complete the exhibition.
Next to the path there is a play zone with carousels, trampolines, inflatables, a shooting gallery, a dodgem track, a karting track and a rope course. Food is available on site. Nearby it is worth visiting the open-air museum of the Podlasie Museum of Folk Culture and the Nadawki grange.
