ul. Pasikonika, Wieś Ujazd
Mikrokosmos is a themed educational and amusement park in Ujazd in the Tomaszów district, not far from Tomaszów Mazowiecki. Its core is several dozen sculptures of insects and microorganisms made at many times life size, with close attention to the details of their morphology.
An educational path leads past a praying mantis, a ladybird and a dragonfly many times larger than a human; each figure has a board describing the species. A garden and a pond inhabited by waterfowl complete the grounds. In 2012 the park was named the best tourism product in the Łódź province.
The youngest visitors have a playground with trampolines, slides, a ball pool and a tree house. The grounds are suitable for moving around with a pushchair. Visiting the whole site usually takes about an hour.
