Majaland is a fairy tale amusement park in Kownaty between Torzym and Łagów, in the Lubusz province, right by a junction of the A2 motorway. It was built around characters known from the stories of Maya the Bee and is the only complex of its kind in the region.
The park is divided into an outdoor zone and a roofed hall, so it operates all year and rain does not ruin a visit. Among nearly thirty rides, carousels, large slides and gentle roller coasters scaled to younger children dominate; older visitors will find a few faster ones.
Several food outlets and souvenir shops operate on site. The paths are level and wide, which makes moving around with a pushchair easy. A visit combined with the rides usually takes about an hour, longer when it is busy.
