Park Nauki i Ewolucji Człowieka operates in Krasiejów in the Opole region, right next to JuraPark, which grew around a famous palaeontological site with Triassic fossils. Opened in 2014 as the first facility of its kind in Poland, it combines multimedia stage design with the story of human origins.
The route takes the form of a journey through time and is divided into stages. It begins in a waiting room with games and animations, then visitors board a space shuttle simulator and finally a time machine that takes them back 66 million years — to the moment the age of the dinosaurs ends. Further rooms present the stages of primate and human evolution. The exhibitions were designed by palaeontologist Andrzej Boczarowski.
The building is roofed, so it works in any weather, and the route remains accessible to pushchairs. It is visited mainly by families with school-age children and organised groups. A visit is easily combined with the neighbouring JuraPark — together they fill several hours.
