Borkowo 1, Wieś Malechowo
The historical park in Borkowo near Malechowo in West Pomerania leads visitors through successive epochs — from the Neolithic to the Middle Ages. The display is set outdoors: settlement reconstructions alternate here with a museum section.
Along the route stand a Neolithic camp, a fisherman's hut and examples of rock painting, while the cases show replicas of weapons and the armament of warriors and knights. The chronological arrangement makes it possible to follow changes in tools, building and everyday life.
The park is aimed at families: there is a playground, an obstacle trail, stocks and wooden horses, and children can put on their own show in the puppet theatre. Old games such as javelin throwing are also organised, along with photographs in knightly props.
