Where the river meets the Baltic

The mouth of the Piaśnica lies on the edge of Dębki in the Puck district, within the Coastal Landscape Park. It is the place where a small river cuts through the belt of seaside dunes and joins the sea. The channel of the outlet shifts from year to year under the influence of currents and storms, so the landscape never looks quite the same.

What to see

A wide sandy beach with access point number 24 stretches along the outlet. Behind it lie coastal meadows and pine woods, and this section of the shore is far less crowded than the beaches of the larger resorts. Water birds readily use the shallows by the mouth, which nature watchers and photographers will appreciate — especially at dawn and at sunset.

Who it suits

This is a spot for anyone looking for a quiet seaside break, long walks along the shore and contact with wild nature. The ground is sandy and uneven, so the approach can be awkward with a pushchair. The rules of a protected area apply here.
