Wieś Lipnica Górna
Kamienie Brodzińskiego is a group of nine sandstone tors on the boundary between Lipnica Górna and Rajbrot, within the Wiśnicz-Lipnica Landscape Park. The rocks stand in woodland along a ridge of the Wiśnicz Foothills, and their present shapes were carved by weathering and erosion. The name commemorates Kazimierz Brodziński, a poet associated with the area.
Each boulder has its own name and outline. The best known are the Rock Mushrooms with their cap-shaped tops, Skalne Oko with a through hole, and Wielki Kamień — a block some 10 metres high and 16 metres long, on which young pines and birches survive despite the lack of soil. An information board beside it explains how the tors were formed.
The blue Bochnia–Tymbark trail leads to the rocks. From Lipnica Górna the route is just under 3 km and takes a little over an hour; the shortest approach, about a quarter of an hour, starts at the car park by the Gospoda pod Kamieniem inn. The paths are forested and rooty in places, so sturdy shoes are useful.
