A spring in the Prądnik Valley

Źródełko Miłości rises at the foot of the rocks in the Prądnik Valley, within the Ojców National Park, just beyond the Kraków Gate. It lies at an altitude of about 308 metres, and its yield reaches two litres per second. The water emerges right beside the valley's main trail.

The legend and the name

The name refers to a local tale according to which a couple who drink the water together will be united forever. Tests, however, have shown bacteria in the water, so drinking it is not advised. The place itself remains a cool, shady corner, pleasant on hot days.

Getting there

The spring stands beside the asphalt road running along the bottom of the Prądnik Valley, which makes it one of the most easily accessible points in the park. It is worth combining the stop with a walk to the Kraków Gate and the nearby rocks. The visit itself takes about a quarter of an hour.

  • Surfaced access road along the valley
  • Information board at the spring
  • A shaded resting spot below the rocks
Cost: Free admission Visit duration: approx. 15 min Seasonality: All year round
