Wieś Glinne
Kamień Leski is a distinctive sandstone formation on a hill in the village of Glinne, a few kilometres from Lesko. The rise reaches 410–420 metres above sea level, and the main rock grows some twenty metres above its summit. Thanks to its exposed position the tor is visible from the surrounding roads and serves as a local landmark.
A quarry once operated on the northern side; extraction left behind a deep hollow and a high, vertical wall. An iron cross erected in 1978 stands on top of the rock. The site is firmly rooted in local folklore — many tales explain the shape and origin of the rock, including a legend about the devil, who tried in vain to destroy Christianity in the area.
A visit is short: climbing the hill and walking around the rock takes a few dozen minutes. The walls are used by climbers, so it is worth taking care beneath the rock and keeping away from the edge of the old pit.
