Pod Kobylę, Wisła
Krzakoska Skała, also known as Skała na Kobylej, stands at about 730 metres above sea level in the Silesian Beskids, within the boundaries of Wisła. The sandstone face is around 10 metres high and ranks among the largest rock formations in this part of the range.
From the top of the rock you can see the Wisła valley and the Czantoria and Równica ridges. Several climbing routes have been set on the face, so the site is regularly visited by climbers. The surroundings are spruce and beech forest, typical of the Silesian Beskid ridges.
The approach follows the blue-marked trail starting at the Wisła Dziechcinka railway stop. The walk up takes about an hour and a quarter and needs no mountain experience, though the final stretch can be steep. The route is easy to extend into a longer ridge walk towards Kobyla.
