Wieś Wilkowice
Skała Czarownic is a striking sandstone formation in the Little Beskids, rising from the slope above Wilkowice-Bystra in Bielsko County. It stands beside the black trail leading from the valley up to Magurka Wilkowicka (909 m above sea level), where the forest gives way to a steep, stony climb. The name refers to old legends about witches' sabbaths.
You can scramble to the top of the rock, though it calls for care — the stone can be slippery after rain. From above you see the slopes of Magurka and Czupel, and on the other side a panorama of Wilkowice, Bystra and the basin at the foot of the Beskids. It is a good spot for a short rest on the way to the ridge.
The approach starts in Huciska: beyond the bridge over the Zimnik you turn left into Pieczarkowa street and then find the steep path leading uphill. The walk to the rock takes about 20–25 minutes and requires a sure step and trekking shoes.
