Wieś Łodygowice
Diabli Kamień is a large sandstone rock in the Beskid Mały range, in the Magurka Wilkowicka group near the summit of Przysłop, within the municipality of Łodygowice. It rises from the forest as a solitary block with ragged walls and is one of the few such clear rock forms in this part of the Beskids.
The red trail from Łodygowice to Czupel passes the rock. You can also reach the Przysłop clearing on the yellow trail from Tresna or the green one from Czernichów. All variants are walks of several hours along forested ridges with views of Lake Żywieckie. Climbers occasionally use the walls, where a few demanding routes have been set.
The name comes from a tale about a devil who was building the Devil's Mill below Skrzyczne and dropped the stone he was carrying while flying over the ridge. Similar stories accompany many rocks in the Beskids and reflect how unusual landforms were once explained.
