Bzów, Zawiercie
Skała Rzędowa is a solitary limestone tor rising above the fields of the Bzów district in Zawiercie, in the Silesian Voivodeship. It forms one of the summits of Góra Rzędowa and reaches 454 m above sea level, which makes it one of the highest points in the area. The approach starts from Zwierzyniecka Street, where a car park is located nearby.
A metal cross stands on the summit, and from beneath it a wide panorama of the Kraków-Częstochowa Upland opens up. In good visibility you can make out the ruins of Ogrodzieniec Castle and the stronghold on Góra Birów. The climb takes a quarter of an hour and requires no preparation — it is one of the easiest viewpoints in this part of the Jura.
The vertical, fourteen-metre wall of the rock is a popular climbing destination. A total of 34 routes of varying difficulty have been set here, from easy to demanding. Below the rock stands a roofed shelter with benches, a good place to rest or to wait out the rain.
