The Anna seasonal pump room stands in Muszyna on Jasna Street, opposite the Muszyna-Zdrój railway halt, on the bank of the Muszynka stream. A wooden pavilion shelters the mineral water intake, which is available free of charge to all visitors.
The pump room has operated since 1958, when a twelve-metre borehole reached the spring. It replaced the earlier damaged „Przy Targowicy” intake, and its name commemorates Anna Jarocka, head of the „BalneoProjekt” Balneochemical Laboratory.
The spring yields a ferruginous bicarbonate-calcium-magnesium carbonated water with mineralisation approaching 1700 mg/dm3. Its high content of dissolved carbon dioxide gives it a distinct, refreshing taste and accounts for its therapeutic properties. The intake is one of more than a dozen scattered around Muszyna and nearby villages, together forming a walking route among the springs of the Poprad valley.
