Wieś Przesieka
Kamień Waloński and Chybotek form a group of granite tors in Przesieka, in the Karkonosze district of Lower Silesia. They stand on a forested slope above the village, a short walk from the last houses. The rocks are typical of the Karkonosze range: weathered out of the granite massif, rounded by erosion and cut by deep fissures.
The name Kamień Waloński refers to the Walloons, medieval prospectors who left marks on the rocks: crosses and outlines of hands. Chybotek owes its name to the block's former ability to rock on its base; today the ground around it is overgrown and the stone can no longer be moved. The hollows in which some visitors see a human figure are weathering pits.
Four marked trails through Przesieka cross nearby, yellow, green, blue and black, so the rocks fit easily into a longer walk in the Karkonosze. Walking around the group itself takes a quarter of an hour.
