Wieś Czerna
Dolina Eliaszówki is a landscape reserve in the Olkusz Upland, within the Dolinki Krakowskie Landscape Park and a Natura 2000 site. It lies by the village of Czerna in Kraków County, north-west of Cracow. The narrow stream valley cuts into limestone bedrock, creating steep slopes, rock tors and outcrops visible straight from the path.
The walk follows the Eliaszówka stream and the karst springs named after saints Elijah, Elisha and Joseph. The stone bridge known as the Devil's Bridge, a small waterfall and the remains of hermits' cottages all draw attention. Above the valley stands the Discalced Carmelite monastery in Czerna, which closes the view and makes a natural destination.
The yellow hiking trail from Olkusz runs through the reserve and the Racławka Valley to Paczółtowice, and a blue cycling route leads from the Krzeszowice area. The paths are stony and steep in places, so proper footwear helps. A visit takes about two hours.
