Sucha Polana is a former shepherds' clearing in the Beskid Wyspowy range, on the Sucha Pass in the Lubomir and Łysina ridge, above the village of Poręba in the Myślenice district. It sits where several trails meet, which has long made it a natural resting point for hikers.
The clearing is reached by the yellow trail from Dobczyce towards Lubień and by the green one from Myślenice-Zarabie, which continues to the PTTK hut on Kudłacze. The climbs are moderate and the forest sections give shade along most of the route.
There is a shelter roof, camping spots with fire rings and boards describing the natural assets of the area. During the Second World War, Home Army partisan units of the „Murawa” district gathered on the clearing, commemorated by a plaque to the fallen. It works well as a stop on a longer ridge walk.
