Wieś Wierchomla Mała
Bacówka PTTK nad Wierchomlą is a year-round mountain hut in the Beskid Sądecki, in the Jaworzyna Krynicka range, above the village of Wierchomla Mała. It belongs to the family of small tourist bacówka huts and offers a simple, intimate standard with a buffet and beds for hikers.
The hut stands on a wide mountain clearing, so from its terrace you can see the Radziejowa range and, in good weather, the distant Tatras. It is one of those spots in the Beskid Sądecki where the panorama opens up without having to climb a summit.
The place suits those looking for quiet — there is far less traffic here than around Jaworzyna Krynicka. The shortest approach is the black trail from the stop in Wierchomla Mała, or the chairlift followed by the blue trail. Cyclists use the green bike route from Wierchomla Wielka to Maciejowa. Driving up to the hut is usually not possible.
