Zieleniec, Duszniki-Zdrój
Zieleniec is the highest-lying part of Duszniki-Zdrój, stretched along the ridge of the Orlickie Mountains in the Central Sudetes. The cable cars and lifts here are run by the Zieleniec Ski Arena resort, and some of them also operate outside the ski season.
In spring, summer and autumn the Gryglówka lift is often in service, carrying hikers and cyclists; in winter the full lift system works together with the Nartorama. The ride shortens the climb to the ridge and lets you start walking straight away above 900 m above sea level.
Hiking trails and cycling routes run from the upper stations along the ridge of the Orlickie Mountains all the way to the Czech border. Down in the valley lie the spa towns of Duszniki-Zdrój and Polanica-Zdrój, with the Stołowe Mountains a little further on, which makes the area a good base for a stay of several days.
