A quiet beach on Puck Bay

The beach in Rzucewo lies on the Kashubian shore of Puck Bay, within the Coastal Landscape Park, a few kilometres north of Puck. You reach the water down a slope through a belt of woodland, which keeps the spot intimate even at the height of the season. The shore is narrow and sandy, and the water close in is very shallow.

Who it suits

The calm, shallow bay is a good place to bathe with small children and to learn windsurfing and kitesurfing — the wind blows regularly here and the bottom shelves gently for a long way. The beach has no lifeguards and little in the way of facilities, so bring water, food and a parasol with you.

Nearby

Above the beach stands the historic palace in Rzucewo, today a hotel, and next to it the Seal Hunters Settlement museum, reconstructing the life of a coastal community from several thousand years ago. Walking and cycling trails follow the bay towards Puck, with views of the Hel Peninsula.

Cost: Free admission Visit duration: approx. 1 hour Seasonality: Summer season (June–September); the beach is accessible all year
