Wieś Zalesie
The Zalesie resort with its Main Beach lies on Lake Chełmżyńskie in the municipality of Chełmża, in the Kuyavian-Pomeranian Voivodeship. It is about twenty kilometres from Toruń, which makes the place a convenient stop for anyone travelling around the Chełmno Land.
Visitors have two beaches at their disposal, one sandy and one grassy, plus a supervised bathing area. Next to them are a water equipment rental point, a beach volleyball court, sanitary facilities and a snack bar. Tents may be pitched on the grounds and holiday cabins are available, so the resort also serves as a base for a longer stay.
Walking and cycling paths run around the lake, linking the most interesting spots in the Chełmża municipality and continuing towards Toruń, Radzyń Chełmiński and Grudziądz. The lake itself is one of the larger ones in the region and is valued by anglers and sailors.
