Zalew Brzózki – Biskupice is an artificial lake in the Byczyna municipality in the Opole Voivodeship, created on the Pratwa river near the village of Biskupice. It serves flood-retention purposes but has long been used for recreation as well. The banks are mostly surrounded by farmland, so instead of sunbathing the main activities here are walking, angling and water sports.
The main draw of the area is the Knights' Stronghold in Biskupice, a reconstruction of a medieval timber-and-earth fort established in 2007. It hosts displays and events referring to old crafts and weaponry, and its presence prompted the creation of a lakeside walking path and wooden piers.
Near the stronghold there is a rental point for canoes and pedal boats, and the offer also includes quad bikes, paintball and paragliding flights. The lake is rich in fish and popular with anglers, who can hire fishing boats on the spot. The surroundings also suit a cycling trip.
