Two reservoirs on the Krztynia

The water reservoirs in Przyłubsko are a pair of small bodies of water on the Krztynia river, south of Kroczyce in the Silesian Voivodeship, within the Kraków-Częstochowa Upland. One of them is open to visitors, the other is reserved exclusively for angling.

The character of the place

There are no tourist facilities here: no guarded bathing area, no rental points, no food outlets. What the site offers instead is quiet — walkers and runners follow the banks, and the water is framed by meadows and clumps of trees typical of the Jurassic river valleys.

The surrounding area

Nearby lies the Siamoszyce reservoir with a holiday centre, a beach, a bathing area and a playground — a useful base for anyone who wants a peaceful day by the Krztynia and full facilities in the evening. The limestone crags and castles of the Trail of the Eagles' Nests are also close by.
