Jezioro Dręstwo, also spelled Dreństwo, lies in the municipality of Bargłów Kościelny in Podlaskie Voivodeship, south-west of Augustów. The Jegrznia river flows through it, and the shores are surrounded by forests and wet meadows typical of this part of Podlasie. It is a quiet lake without extensive tourist infrastructure.
Two holiday centres operate by the water, and the guarded bathing areas are located only within their grounds, while swimming outside the designated places is forbidden. Anglers value the lake for its varied fish species: pike, whitefish, vendace, bream, roach, perch and eel are caught here. The surrounding forests invite walking, running, Nordic walking and berry picking.
Dręstwo fits well into a trip around Podlasie: a short drive away are Augustów with the Augustów Canal, Rajgród on Lake Rajgrodzkie and Grajewo. Activity by the water is concentrated in the summer months.
