The via ferrata "Dwie Skałki" (Two Little Rocks) is located in the very centre of Kielce, in the Kadzielnia nature reserve (a former quarry), about 2 km from Kielce's market square. Opened on 1 May 2025, it is one of the first commercial via ferratas in Poland made accessible to a wide range of visitors, including families with children.
The route runs along the rock walls of a disused quarry within the Kadzielnia reserve, near the Kadzielnia Caves, the amphitheatre and the Geologists' Rock. The entrance is by the path towards the amphitheatre, next to the exit from the caves.
The climbing route is approx. 100 m long, and its difficulty is rated A/B (the easiest part of the scale). Iron rails, steps, clamps and a rope bridge have been installed in the rock. The descent is by a mandatory zip line (rope descent) approx. 130 m long. The whole facility is sometimes described collectively as a route of approx. 260 m (climbing section + zip line + stairs to Scout Hill). Safety is provided by a fixed steel cable along the entire route.
The site is intended for adults and children meeting the requirements: minimum height 140 cm and weight over 40 kg, plus physical fitness allowing them to hold on to the clamps. Children require a guardian.
The attraction is paid and staffed by an operator. There is a car park nearby off Krakowska Street; from the city centre it is a walk of about 10-15 minutes.
Open in the spring–summer season, daily 10:00-19:00, last entry approx. 18:15. First opened on 1 May 2025.
