ul. Zawiercka, Wieś Włodowice
Zalew Włodowice is a small artificial reservoir of roughly two hectares in the Kraków-Częstochowa Upland, set between the villages of Włodowice and Rudniki in Zawiercie county. Forest surrounds it, so the place feels like a woodland clearing with water in the middle. Its scale suits a family day out.
A guarded beach has been marked out along the shore, with a lifeguard on duty in the summer season and water quality monitored by the sanitary inspectorate. Around it stand gazebos, benches, fire pits and a children's playground, plus food outlets and space for camping. There is a car park by the reservoir, and bikes can be left at a rack.
Beyond swimming and sunbathing, the area tempts with a network of forest paths — a good base for a walk or a short bike ride through the Jura. The reservoir is popular, so on hot weekends it gets busy and noisy; mornings and the shoulder season are calmer.
