Wieś Rzeczenica
Jezioro Szczytno lies in the Człuchów district in the north of the Pomeranian Voivodeship, in a landscape of pine forests and glacial troughs. The Brda river flows through it, linking Szczytno Wielkie with Szczytno Małe and Jezioro Końskie. Thanks to this, the lake is part of one of the most highly regarded kayaking routes in Poland.
On the shore, in Rzewnica, there is an extensive tourist complex: a fenced tent and camping field, a holiday centre, a beach with a supervised bathing area and a water equipment rental. Its landmark feature is a viewing terrace built in the shape of a ship. Nearby there are boat sheds, food outlets and a hotel with a spa area.
Cycling routes and forest tracks run around the lake, while the Brda itself allows trips of varying length. In summer one of the larger sea shanty festivals in Pomerania takes place here, drawing sailors and audiences from across the region.
